IMPORTANT: International Students are limited to how many volunteering hours they can undertake whilst they are studying in the UK. In light of this, and other restrictions, the Volunteering Team have created a factsheet to help understand the difference between Volunteering and Voluntary Work. Partnering with Student Groups

Bath V Team
Bath V Team is one of our largest student-led groups. They organise volunteering projects around the community, working with a variety of charities and causes.
Projects
We are always looking for opportunities for students to run a community project with you. It needs to be something that a student can have a lead on with some autonomy but in the initial set up our team will be more involved in supporting a pilot with a view to it benig student-led in coming years. To discuss how we can work together, please get in touch with volunteers@bath.ac.uk.
Examples of V Team projects:
V Code
Working with Mighty Girls, Bath V Team run an annual coding Bootcamp for local secondary school girls, aiming to inspire them to have a future career in STEM.
V Trees
Working with Avon Needs Trees, Bath V Team run regular tree planting volunteering in the community.

RAG (Raise & Give) Student Fundraising
All student-led fundraising goes through RAG (Raise and Give). They support students with advice, guidance and legal processes. RAG are student-led and so charities are selected by the current committee.
Expressions of Interest
RAG collect expressions of interest from Chairites and Community Groups all year round (UK registered). To find out more check out RAG’s webpage.
Events will be led by the RAG Committee, with each event partnered with a different Charity. Examples include Sleep Out for Julian House and Kennel Break for Bath Cats and Dogs Home. If you have an idea for a joint event email rag@bath.ac.uk
