2020-21 Productions

After a tricky start to the year, having to cancel our planned shows, BUST adapted to the new environment of online theatre, producing two virtual pieces, 'Belonging' and 'Hold Out Your Hand' with committee members stepping up to direct/lead both ventures.

Belonging

Dir. Francesca McBride

9th December 2020

'Belonging' is a Headphone Verbatim piece. All the words you will hear are the words of real people. You will see each actor attempt to repeat the words of their interviewee with the exact same tone, dialect and context as they were first said, whilst the recording is being played into the actor's ears.

After its' premiere in December 2020, this original show was selected for inclusion Selected in the Scottish Online Student Drama Festival, and was subsequently released to a wider audience on the 9th March 2021.
