Bureaucracy

Career

  • Launch new careers events tailored towards non-STEM students, featuring employers with focusses on humanities, volunteering and other alternative career paths (University Advocacy)
  • Expand and improve the Bath Award using knowledge gained from its pilot year alongside student feedback, recognizing the importance of extra-curricular development as well as more established routes such as the SU's skills training workshops (University Advocacy)
  • Strengthen the presence of sustainable and environmentally aware employers in careers fairs (University Advocacy)

City

  • Develop off-campus spaces, such as Scala, for use by student groups through the installation of infrastructure such as kitchen appliances and mirrors (University Advocacy)

Commemorative Days

  • Collaborate with Faith and Cultural groups to produce events showcasing their communities, enabling both home and international students to find a sense of belonging (SU Operations – Student Life)
  • Highlight commemorative days as opportunities to celebrate, and educate ourselves about, the diverse cultures and communities present within our student body (SU Operations – Student Life)

Community

  • Heighten the visibility of societies with year-round promotion, particularly focusing on increasing international and postgraduate student involvement (SU – Chief Executive Remit)
  • Push for more equal allocation of studio, recital and other rehearsal spaces, particularly around performance and competition periods (SU Operations – Student Life)

Event

  • Build on the launch of the Visual Arts showcase using student feedback and my experience organising the event to improve the showcase for future years (SU Operations – Student Life)

Housing

  • Uphold the SU's Housing Campaign, increasing awareness of student's rights and pushing for better affordability and accessibility across all housing sectors (SU Operations – Student Leadership & Support)

Mental Health

  • Spread awareness of the university's and SU's wellbeing services and how to access them, through more consistent communication and an emphasis on the role lecture courses can play in increasing their visibility (University Advocacy)

Scholarships

  • Ensure financial support structures such as scholarships, bursaries and grants remain accessible whilst simultaneously increasing their visibility (University Advocacy)

Space

  • Continue progress in securing the Edge as an SU only building (University Advocacy)

Sustainability

  • Work with staff and students to ensure continued progress towards the goals outlined in the university's Sustainability Strategy and the SU's Sustainability Action Plan (SU Operations – Student Life)
  • Empower student voices through the SUstainability Student Forum allowing students to hold the SU and university accountable and have direct input into decisions surrounding sustainability (SU Operations – Student Leadership & Support)
