Equipment Hire
All members of SU Sport are entitled to borrow a variety of equipment for free.
You can hire equipment with your Library Card and a paid SU Sport Membership or Equipment Fee. Just follow the instructions below.
- Purchase SU Sport Membership or SU Sport Equipment Hire. For more information on all our memberships click here SU Sport Memberships.
- Wait 3-5 working days whilst we add and process your details to the system
- Book your sporting facility and take your library card to the reception of the STV or Founders Hall to sign out equipment.
You can hire the following equipment from the Sports Training Village:
- Badminton Rackets
- Tennis Rackets
- Footballs
- Volleyballs
- Netballs
- Basketballs
You can hire the following equipment from the Founders' Hall:
- Badminton Rackets
- Basketballs
- Squash Rackets
You can also hire the following equipment from The Box Office in the Edge Building:
Wednesdays between 13:00-13.30 during term time. All collections and returns will be done during this time frame at this location. Please make sure you bring your library card. If you have any further questions, then please contact subathsport@bath.ac.uk.

Broken or Missing Equipment
If equipment is returned broken or not returned, SU Sport will be informed, and you will be required to pay the cost of the item. You will also be banned from hiring equipment until payment has been made. Failing to pay will result in further action being taken, such as disciplinary action.
Please treat the equipment with the care you would give it as if it were your own, so that others can enjoy it too.
