Location: Lanes 7&8 in the 50m Pool, Sports Training Village.
If you wish to join a water based Sports Club (canoe, rowing, sailing, surf, windsurf & triathlon) then you are required to complete a swim test.
This swim test will consist of 3 elements:
- 100m continuous swim within 5 minutes (2 lengths of the STV Pool)
- Tread Water in an upright position for 5 minutes immediately after the swim completion
- Exit The Water via the plinth at the end of the pool (This is a raised side)
All participants will be assessed by an assessor, who will then notify you if you have passed or failed.
All participants must wear shorts and t-shirt for the whole duration of the test
Participants are not permitted to wear goggles (With the exception of those with contact lenses)
