Being an NUS Rep is an important role; important for The University of Bath, for the Students’ Union and, most importantly, for the students being represented. There are a range of NUS rep roles, including; black students conference delegate, the disabled students conference delegate, mature/part-time students conference delegate, postgraduate students conference delegate, women’s students conference delegate and Equalities and Diversities Rep.
Each of these roles’ duties and responsibilities include representing the views of students at the University of Bath with regard to a specific issue; be that race, gender, diversity or other, and enabling students to raise concerns both on an intuitional level and a national level at NUS conferences.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about a certain area of student experience and representation, who wants to try their hand at organizing campaigns and who is ready to take on the challenge of public speaking and debating.
